"One of the most important books I've ever read--an indispensable guide to thinking clearly about the world." - Bill Gates "Hans Rosling tells the story of 'the secret silent miracle of human progress' as only he can. But Factfulness does much more than that. It also explains why progress is so often secret and silent and teaches readers how to see it clearly." --Melinda Gates "Factfulness by Hans Rosling, an outstanding international public health expert, is a hopeful book about the potential for human progress when we work off facts rather than our inherent biases." - Former U.S. President Barack Obama
From Admin: This is a really good book. It can teach us how to see things as they really are, from normal everyday life to some global issue like global warming ( how's bad it is? And also why some environmentalist should stop over dramatic it for overall good ). It teaches us how things can be both bad and better. It teaches us there is no developed country nor developing one, that people live in level 1(<2$/day) is the same all over the world, from Vietnam to Iran, China, India, include "developed country" a few decades ago. It also explains why thing looks so bad in the media that it may not represent what is actually happening.
